Biking Tour of Morocco
Discover the secret world of Morocco from saddle of your bike, the array of landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains, the great plain of the Draa and Dades, and the doorway to the great Sahara desert. This route allows you to take the 4x4 wheel drive and your bike to cover the miles to reach the sites between them and to explore the geographical puzzle of this country.
Day 1: Marrakech
Pick up at the airport at Marrakech Menara International Airport. Hotel transfer depends on time of arrival
Day 2: Marrakech » Tamdaght
After breakfast, drive via Tizi'n Tichka to Telouet. Visit the Kasbah, and then departure for 45 Km bike ride with little vertical direction to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Day 3: Tamdaght » Toundoute
After breakfast, start rolling on a track toward Ouarzazate, arrived near the film studios. (Possibility to visit the studios). Transfer of 30 km toward the east, then continue toward a mountain plateau with magnificent landscapes towards GHASSATE Assermou (1600m), picnic lunch around Assermou Toundoute.
Day 4: Toundoute » Boutaghar
Leaving after breakfast, about 55km mountain bike on a plateau at the foot of Mgouna up Boutaghar. (2 possibilities journey of different difficulty).
Day 5: Boutaghar » Babn'Ali
The morning after breakfast, head in the direction of the Dades Valley (2 possibilities) to reach Saghro massif (2200 m). The landscape will offer very beautiful scenery and it contrast with the lunar landscapes of granite of the previous day. On the descent you can take great pictures, because of the contrast of the black rock with the blue sky. Then a descent of 15m, and you are Bab'n'Ali, a corner might suggest, Nevada or West United States, with its rocky peaks.
Day 6: Babn'Ali » Tansikht » Timasla
After breakfast, we take the track for the last 25 kilometers of mountain biking, Nkoob direction, then transfer to Tansikht or we take the track towards Timasla.
Day 7: Timasla » Zagora
Track along the Draa valley southerly direction towards Zagora, reaching the desert.
Day 8: Zagora » Marrakech
Morning departure to Marrakech that we reach in the afternoon.
Day 9: Marrakech
Transfer to the airport
